StretchLab, the leader in one-on-one assisted stretching, opened its newest location in Clarkston on July 26. The new studio will introduce people of all ages and fitness levels to the various health and wellness benefits of working with trained Flexologists in an approachable environment.
The grand opening included complimentary demo stretches for first-time visitors and discounted memberships. StretchLab Clarkston is owned by local businesswoman Jennifer Keahl. Keahl was born and raised in northern Oakland County and fell in love with the brand after experiencing the health benefits of the concept.
She says, “No one leaves StretchLab in a bad mood. I want people to see the inclusivity that StretchLab brings more than anything. I have had clients ranging from elementary teachers, retired police chiefs, student athletes, former Red Wings and even professional musicians. Anyone can benefit from assisted stretching.”
StretchLab offers personalized stretching services, including a 25-minute stretch concentrating on current stretching needs and a 50-minute head-to-toe stretch addressing major muscle groups. The Flexologist Training Program is accredited by the Institute for Credentialing Excellence, a first in the field of assisted stretching. StretchLab offers monthly memberships in four or eight visits monthly, as well as walk-in stretches.
