Rochester Holistic Arts Among 150+ Artisans, Demos and Activities

Blake’s Annual Lavender Market will return to Armada Friday through Sunday, July 15-17, rain or shine, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The market is presented by Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill. Visitors will be able to enjoy the orchards, stroll the open-air marketplace featuring 150+ artisans of more than 25 categories of handcrafted products, demonstrations on natural wellness, enjoy drop-in lavender-themed workshops and children’s activities and eat or drink homemade lavender treats.
Among the planned exhibitors is Nicholas Leshley, massage therapist with 18yrs of clinical experience and owner of Rochester Holistic Arts. He will be hosting an exhibit featuring massage demonstrations, local art, intuitive card readings and retail items related to the practice of wellness. Leshley will also be presenting a 30-minute conversation focused on stress manifestation, breathing techniques, various methods of detoxification and nutrition. All ages are welcome at the Lavender Market, but dogs are not allowed on the premises. Tickets are on sale now. Children 12 and under enter for free. Regular admission to the festival, which at the early bird rate is $10 plus a $1.50 transaction fee, includes parking and a train ride through the 800-acre farm to the “U-pick” lavender, flower and vegetable fields. Online applications for artisans to present their crafts at the event are welcomed as well.
