Jill Berner, a holistic health practitioner, brought ionic detoxing to Lake Orion’s Lucky’s Natural Foods store in July. This uses a high-tech mechanized water detoxification system that facilitates the body’s ability to heal itself. Appointments for the service are available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Berner says, “The ionic detox foot bath machine utilizes steel electrodes, which cleans, balances and enhances bio-energy, a vital force present in the body’s fluid and cells. The action of the machine on your body results in less fluid retention. Reduction of inflammation, improved memory, improved bladder control, improved immunity…these are just a few of the benefits.
